I feel like a Jefferson...

... because I'm movin' on up. Yes, the summer is over, and all I have to show for it is a new apartment with very little furniture. In the picture, you can see everything I brought along--some boxes and other junk, and my life-size Mexican therapy doll (wow was that hard to explain to the doorman).

So anyway, the new apartment is in the Condesa, not too too far from the other place, and is huge and has great views from every room, and also two balconies. I can walk out of the building and be at any of 20-30 bars/restaurants. Just across the street I even have a Krispy Kreme if I want it. It's close to the park, and so the dogs are making doggy-friends. They also have their own room, bathroom, and covered patio. I should've named one of them Riley, because they sure are living the life.

In other news, I was just on vacation for about a month. Lots of sofa time, family, friends, and HGTV. That about sums it up.

I've also now returned to work, which is not bad all considered. Oh, and I had a birthday. And my local Soriana grocery store has an imported foods aisle, and I'm really enjoying Wasabi peas from Thailand, even though they are "produced in a facility that uses milk, peanuts, seeds, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, and soybeans." I can't imagine what they use them for...fuel? lunch? pay?
